Urban anomalies: The secret systems of Siena
Guided tour of the exhibition “Urban Anomalies. The Secret Systems of Siena”.
The exhibition is an artistic research work that calls into question the way we currently think of cities in Denmark and the spatial qualities of new neighbourhoods.
The city of Siena performs as a tool for questions, reflections and inspiration when talking about spatial qualities, density, city life, green wedges, public spaces, building regulations and architecture.
Furthermore, “The Secret Systems of Siena” unfolds the role of water in the city organisation, experience and functioning, including how architecture represents water systems.
The research project wants to inspire key actors such as architects, municipalities, foundations, and urban developers.
Urban Anomalies is a research project developed by Nuria Casais (Aarhus School of Architecture) and Jens Christian Pasgaard (Pasgaard Arkitektkontor).
